Over the rainbow is a land filled with wonderful sites and sounds. That’s what you will find in Morgan County, Colorado. The skies are a vast sea of blue and the flat prairie of the Pawnee Grasslands gently gives way to rich farmland and lush vegetation. This is a place where nature and men live side by side. The South Platte River wanders through this scenic landscape inviting visitors to enjoy quick glimpses of wildlife and quite paces to pause.

Brush Colorado offers a rich history that began, in the late 1800’s as a supply station and cattle shipping point beginning on the Texas Montana Trail. This quiet town is full of tradition. The All Saints Lutheran Church is off the beaten path, but really worth exploring. Main Street Brush, with its vintage movie house and its unique shops, gives you a friendly peak into small town living. The beautiful 9-hold golf course is only minutes away.

Just a few miles down the highway is Fort Morgan. There’s a lot to see and do in this lively town. Shopping is plentiful, and so are the opportunities to see history up close. The Fort Morgan Museum is filled with artifacts and memorabilia; Glenn Miller grew up here and is honored each year at the Glenn Miller Swing fest.

Take a driving tour of historic places in this picturesque town. The Sherman historic district is listed on the national registry. Another historic site is the James March Bridge – the only Rainbow Bridge in Colorado. Perhaps you dream of quiet walks through nature or exploring historic and beautiful places.
